Top 10 ways in which the world could come to an end…
Hi ppl, me again with another post…….This time I tried to think a bit scientific(unakku en inda velanu Gils solradu en kaadhukku kekudhu). Bored of trying to find the Top 10 movies of the year or Top 10 songs of the year. Thought of trying out something different. Top 10 ways in which I think the world would come to an end!!! Howzzzat? May be there are a lot of articles published already but still wanted to give it a try.
Ippo enakku oru joke niyabagam varudhu. One person asked the other "Ulagam eppidi Aziyum? The other took a paper wrote with Pencil Ulagam then took a rubber, erased it out and told the other "Ippididhan!". Ok ok dont thuppify here itself.... Fulla padichitu apparama thuppa vendiya edathula thuppanum. Cleanliness is next to Godliness!! Okie!!
Every living thing should come to an end one day or the other. The earth being a collection of living things should also get the same logic applied. A bit complex though. I have read somewhere that 99% of the living creatures come under the rule of extinction one day or the other. And I believe Earth is no exception to it. Here I go with the reasons and some explanations to my thinking….This time no Googling. All sondha sarakku!!!!!! Been thinking about this topic for quite some time and finally decided to give it some shape. Shape irukka illayanu neenga dhan sollanum... anyway unga thuppalsla irundhu therinjukaren.... ;-D
Go ahead!!
1) Nuclear war / Global war
With the effect of political clashes happening today in spite of the Peace treaties getting signed on the other hand, I am sure this would be one of the top reasons in which our pretty world would come to an end. Today the technology is so very well developed that a single bombshell can destroy the entire continent. But is today’s mankind so rude? We have crossed millions of years and civilized so much but still wars have not come to an end. Each nation is fighting a lot to keep its LOC tight under control.
2) Extinction of species
As stated earlier, 99% of the species which get evolved are subject to extinction one day or the other and we have noticed lot of examples for that. Infact, recently I heard one of my friends saying that she read an article wherein the present day sea life would exist only for another 50 years for man to eat and cattle for another 70 years. Oops what would Notamai and KK do after that? This would lead to the entire mankind turn to Veggies and one day due to the biological chain reaction humans go extinct.
3) Sun dieing out / water drying up
Both the reasons are too horror to think at. Imagine the Sun turning into a huge mass of burnt out coal. We do have proof to the fact that there are dark spots in the Sun resulting in reduction in the Sun’s energy levels. But a contra fact to this is that the earth might come to an end due to the Global warming also resulting in the Ocean drain or the entire earth turning into a large desert…. Eventually point 2 mentioned above would come into place.
4) Robots take over mankind
If I try to visualize a situation like that of the movie, “I, Robot!” you and me would lay in prisons till we die. This would be the extreme of technology taking over mankind. The lifeless, heartless earth filled with robots, robots and only robots. By the way, would robots celebrate Valentine’s Day? May be they celebrates something like Circuit change day, Battery change day, etc. But all this would happen if the Robots win over in the war with Mankind. Vitruvoma yenna?
5) Alien invasion
The various versions of Star Trek explain, imagine & visualize this point in detail spending millions of money. Why me too?
6) Epidemic threat
The hit of epidemics like that of AIDS, Plague, namma Chikun Gunea, mutton gunea, etc., would result in loss of human lives and we have faced samples of these in the past. Samples itself have consumed millions of people so far. Infact stress, strain, madness would also be included in the Epidemic list soon as I read in one of the article.
7) All Volcanoes erupt at one go….
Each country has a good mountain source and each mountain source is deeply connected to the inner core of the planet. If each mountain vents out fire in the form of lava, the entire world would be turned into a ball of ash. What would remain is mere solidified ash. Infact I like the last scene of the movie Volcano where the kid tells that all people look alike and he is not able to recognize who is him Mom. I would watch that movie every time it’s on some channel just to admire the making of that movie. Awesome!
8) Reverse effect of the magnetic field
If this happens, everything will start flying in the Universe and we would loose hold of our atmosphere and fly as dead objects causing traffic jam in space. That’s the worst thing I can think of that could happen.
9) God feels Huh enough of this nuisance due to mankind
I happened to meet an aged couple at my door step one fine morning and they were going door to door to spread the fact that God would surely take a divine action to all cruel things that man is doing today. Yes, if God comes to a decision that this is the limit, then gone case. He would stop all activities here in this planet and rest for some time and be peaceful for sometime without being to hear to all our problems then start creating something in another planet or solar system may be and again the problem would start for him……..
10) It’s all a dream…………
This would be the funniest thing. To tell the truth, many a times I have got up in the midst of my sleep, realized that to be nothing but a horrified dream and got back to bed again. And I pray to God that this is the case always.

Don, the Bollywood blockbuster of the 80s, was remade with contemporary idioms recently in Bollywood. The original Don was remade in Tamil in the 80s as Billa. Billa is now being remade and reinvented in Tamil. Getting into the act will be Ajith. And directing it will be Vishnuvardhan, the modern Tamil director.L.Suresh of Ananda Pictures will produce this film. Nirav Shah will handle the camera. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music. Shahrukh’s Don is a big hit. In fact, such remakes are now the norm in Bollywood.Kollywood is also getting into the act with right earnest. Vishnuvardhan, sources claim, had been toying with this idea for long. But it will be on Ajith that all the eyes will be on.To make a Rajini movie as a remake takes guts and strength of character. And Ajith has shown that he has it in him. Ajith has also got the go-ahead from Rajini. So the coast is clear for him.The film will begin rolling in March 2007. ---- Source IndiaGlitz.com

Rising of the Dead!!!
Yesterday around 7.30 pm as usual I was browsing through all the 120 channels of my TV. Happened to see this program called "Destination" in Travel & Living channel..... Want to share with you what I saw.
This program is basically about the top 10 places of a country. They choose one country per week and this time it was Mexico. As I was hopping from one to another I saw this programme only from the middle...
There were quite a lot of interesting cities which they were showcasing...I dont remember all names rather(except one) but I could remember why they are famous for...
Tequilla
Folk dance
Natural Massage center
Natural Aquarium
etc. etc., but the one that I could not forget was the City named Guanajuato which is famous for its Mummy Museum....Details follows..
This city of Guanajuato is very small so the City authorities charge every family for maintaining their family member's cemetry. If the fare remains due for more than 5 years, the authorities dig the corpse and take it to this museum. Interesting na...
Idhu namma oorula nadandha museum idam pathadhu....
Infact I was amazed to see how well they maintain this museum.. each corpse has a seperate framed box of glass so that everybody can view it fully.... good one than the coffin though?
One interesting fact about all the corpses that they saw was, their mouths were wide open showing different dramatical expressions. This is because when the musles dry up, they contract and due to which the mouth opens up.
They have found interesting poses of mummies and also found that a lady was burried alive some 6 years ago..Also one can see the world's smallest mummy. A child who died in its mother's womb....terrible!!!
Initially there were no visitors to this place. But now there are quite a lot of visitors to this museum. Also one of the museum authorites state that, "peolpe have started realising the fact that there is nothing to be horrified about what they see.. its just a matter of Life and Death. More particularly state of a body after death".....
I've decided to visit this place if by chance I go to Mexico... nadakkuma nu theriyala....

!!!Sutta Pazham!!!
Dear Friend
Gone are the days!!! ....
When The school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks andbenches!
When we queued up in book depot,
And got our new booksand notes!
When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays,
yet managed to line up daily for the morning prayers.
We learnt writing withslates and pencils, and
Progressed To fountain pens and ball pens and then Micro tips!
When we began drawing with crayons and evolved to Color pencils and finally sketch pens! When we started calculatingfirst with tables and then with Clarke's tables and advanced to Calculators and computers!
When we chased one another in the corridors in Intervals, and returned to the classrooms Drenched in sweat!
When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors,Playgrounds, under the trees and even in cycle sheds!
Whenall the colors in the world,Decorated the campus on the Second Saturdays!
When a single P.T. period in the week's Time Table, Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons!
Whencricket was played with writing pads as bats, And Neckties and socks rolled into balls!Whenfew played"kabadi" and "Kho-Kho" in scorching sun, While others simply played"book cricket" in theConfines of classroom!Of fights but no conspiracies,
Of Competitions but seldom jealousy!
Whenwe used towatch Live Cricket telecast, In the opposite house in Intervals and Lunch breaks!
Whenfew rushed at 3:45 to"Conquer" window seats in our School bus! Whilefew others had "Big Fun", "peppermint","kulfi", " milk ice !" and "sharbat !" at 4o Clock!
Gone are the days
Of Sports Day,and the annual School Day ,
And the one-month longpreparations for them.
Gone are the days Of the stressful Quarterly,Half Yearly and Annual Exams,
And the mostenjoyed holidays after them!
Gone are the days Of tenth and twelfth standards, whenWe Spent almost the whole year writing revision tests!
We learnt,We enjoyed,We played, We won, We lost,We laughed, We cried, We fought, We thought.
With so much fun in them, so many friends,
So much experience, all this and more!
Gone are the days
When we usedto talk for hours with our friends!
Now we don't have time to say a `Hi'!
Gone are the days When we played games on the road!
Now weCode on the road with laptop!
Gone are the days When we saw stars Shining at Night!
Now we see stars when our code doesn'tWork!
Gone are the days When we sat to chat with Friends on grounds!
Now we chat in chat rooms.....!
Gone are the days
Where westudied just to pass!
Now we study to save our job!
Gone are the days
Where we had no money in our pockets and still fun filled on our hearts!!
Now we have the atm as well as credit card but with an empty heart!!
Gone are the days
Where we shouted on the road!
Now we don't shout even at homeGone are the daysWhere we got lectures from all!
Now we give lectures to all... like the one I'm doing now....!!
Gone are the days
But not the memories, which will beLingering in our hearts for ever and ever and Ever and ever and ever .....
Gone are the Days....
But still there are lot more Days to come in our Life!!
NO MATTER HOW BUSY YOU ARE ,
