Ganapathi Bappa Moriya!!!

Suklaam bharatharam vishnum
sadivarnam chaturbujam
prasanna vathanam thayaeth
sarva vignobha santhayae!!!
All good things are started after reciting this mantra... and that is the reason Ganesha is got another name called "Moola ganapathi".Also we start with Ganesha pooja due to the fact that we believe that he is the remover of all obstacles. I read in one of the articles on the web that our Lord Ganesha could be compared to that of Santa Claus. The reason being both bring goodness and luck along with them. Thats very true!
Imagine the number of forms Ganesha has. Me and my mom once started drawing the different forms of Ganesha in a note book and finally found that his forms cant be restricted to the pages of that note book... and gave up the act! He is available to everyone. Rich, poor, good, bad, stingy, greedy, etc., Of course all of us know he is known as the God of Knowledge (Sidhi & Budhi claimed to be his two wives!!! still a mystery)...
Ganesha is usually seen accompanied by or riding on a rat as they are capable of forming their own way no matter whatever be the obstacle in front of them. Why do one offer coconut to Lord ganesha especially? ( Browsed a lot and found the answer - Symbolic of smashing the undesirable forces inherant in oneself).
He is the only God according to me who finds a form in all materials and shapes possible. From Cowdung to Turmeric powder, from Glass to plastic, from iron to Gold! and what not...
One can keep on writing about this pot bellied fantastic character! Especially the vitty incident of how he dealt the scene with Muruga to get the Gnanapazam....Let this year go gr8 for all of us with the help of his blessings....
Ganapathy bappa moriya!!!
