Rule of the Road!

It was a nice Friday evening! I finished all my work at office sted fast and jumped into the 6.30 pm cab to reach home as I had to travel to my native that night.... Normally it takes 10-15 mins to commute between my home and office. But today it took me 55 mins to reach my destination..
Imagine why? Ejjatly! It's the monster traffic which had caused this delay... that too in such a cosmo, every friday eve would be a great problem when the entire Bangalore is heading towards their homes after a long tiring week of work...
I got this cartoon in one of the blogs while surfin'(thanks to Google!!!) It exactly depicts Bangalore's nature of traffic.. No wonder, this situation would really occur in a few years down the line....
Hmmm coming back to my story, with great difficulty I peeped out of the window of my cab and found that the cause for all this was a tempo traveller which stood jamming 3/4th of the road.. A super sandai was on there with the tempo driver, A maruthi car owner(who was apparently hit in the front by the tempo due to the sudden halt of the tempo) n a very (heavy)duty conscious traffic police was silently watching all this...
Due to this traffic was blocked for miles ahead and behind the hotspot! Idhellam road orama vachikka koodadha? Imagine if a sick patient had to reach the hospital! Or a student had to reach the exam hall! When would people get Road sense? There is a lot to change by ourselves before expecting from the Government! Untill situations like these dont occur, there would not be a solution to traffic jams no matter how many ever fly overs a built in the city!
Back to my story! Then my cab driver managed to get into another parallel road in order to avoid the traffic.... there were many clever brains like him... As it was a narrow road in a matter of time there was a jam there as well. This was due to people trying to overtake the vehicles without giving way for the opposite side traffic to come this way... It was a real comedy show there! They really want to progress in short term. where would it lead to! They would go a few yards forward and get stuck. Instead if they had given way for the opposite side ppl to go smoothly, all would have gone easily!
Idhellam nam mahajanangallukku yendru vilangumo? Kadavulukkey velicham!!!!
Atlast I decided to postpone my trip to next day early morning as it already started raining very heavily by the time I reached home..... so started bloggin!!!!!

So we people know about city traffic [jam], know about the infrastructure and also we are aware of people's traffic sense as we are part of it as well...still we don't plan accordingly and move early or late, but … :x
So you made it home the next week? ;)
